Orbital facilities like Zurvick Highport are composed of prefabricated modules, greatly simplifying construction. Each module is 94.86m square, and 15.0m high, with a volume of 135000m3, or 1000 tunns (displacement tons). 10 modules are stacked to form a 100,000 tunn construction block.

Modules in residential and commercial precincts are broken down into 4 decks, with interconnecting streets and tramways. Streets are wide pedestrian corridors, often decorated to give the illusion of an open street on a planetary surface, complete with planters and holographic "skies." Approximately 10% of these streets are wider boulevards lined with shops and other commercial establishments. The tramways are part of a transit system which services the entire station. Each tram car seats 10 passengers, and is controlled by an AI coordinated by the central transit system computer.
