The ubiquitous 100 ton Type S Scout is the single most common starship plying the spacelanes. Thousands of these vessels are assigned to reserve scouts, and many more have passed into private hands. The deck layout shown is representative of the base model, but most privately owned 100 ton Scouts have been remodelled by their owners.
This deck plan is an corrected version of the Type S Scout from the original Traveller rules. The original plan given in the rule books does not conform to the ship creation rules, having two additional decks which would in reality protrude outside the wedge-shaped hull.
